The Rajan lab is hiring!

We are seeking curious and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellows interested in joining a growing lab that bridges the fields of brain research and artificial intelligence.

Postdoctoral Fellows

The Rajan lab is soliciting applications for postdoctoral fellows (two years of support, renewable) in the Department of Neurobiology and the Kempner Institute for the Study of Natural and Artificial Intelligence at Harvard Medical School. Fellows are expected to pursue somewhat independent trans-disciplinary lines of inquiry and develop, present, and publish, data-driven computational models and theories about fundamental mechanisms of brain function in adaptive or maladaptive settings. Fellows will have access to a group of mentors of their choosing; interact with Dr. Rajan and colleagues in the Rajan lab; and collaborate with experimental labs and/or clinical groups both within and outside of Harvard.

Required: A doctoral degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or computational neuroscience; strong quantitative skills and ability to program; interest in working collaboratively in diverse and highly interactive settings; and a commitment to open, positive, and inclusive science.

Please be prepared to provide:

  • One-page statement including figures but not including references
  • CV or NIH-style biosketch
  • Names and contact information for 3 referees
The Rajan lab is not hiring a postdoctoral researcher at this time.
