Ann Huang
Graduate Student
Ann is a Kempner Graduate Fellow interested in (1) curriculum learning and its underlying learning dynamics and (2) the degeneracy of neural networks at various levels of analysis. She aims to use both computational and theoretical approaches to develop a theory of these topics and subsequently collaborate with experimentalists to validate her theories using neural data. Ann received her B.S. in Neuroscience and Mathematics from McGill University in Canada, where she studied temporal encoding in deep reinforcement learning agents with Prof. Blake Richards. Outside the lab, Ann enjoys hiking, various outdoor activities, going to concerts, reading, and watching sunsets by the sea.
